Kent Eppley started Eppley Renovations Inc. in 1984 as a general contracting firm. As the demand for quality building and construction in Fairfield County grew, so did the demand for convenience, and it only seem natural to add design services to the business for clients who wanted to coordinate everything under one roof. Mike Palumbo, joined forces with Eppley Renovations, Inc. in 1998 as an innovative designer and was the second individual to become a certified residential designer by the American Institute of Building Designers. Figuring they had outgrown their company name they changed the business name in 2000 to ERI Building & Design, LLC. Both partners believe that by using an established design/build firm, the homeowner can actually save time and money and streamline the construction process which can help make a project both time and cost efficient. ERI Building and Design is constantly striving to find new products and services which will help make each building project unique as well as making home remodeling and new home construction the best experience a homeowner will ever encounter.
Over the years, ERI has won multiple awards and has most recently been recognized by the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Fairfield County as the 2009 Builder of the Year, and as well as the 2006 Remodeler of the Year. The two partners also think it is important to give back to the community. In 2006, ERI Building & Design was awarded Philanthropist of the Year for their work with Joshua House, which is a not for profit organization that constructs homes for the underprivileged. ERI also supports local athletic leagues and often provides sponsorships for area youths.
Our employees are professional, courteous and neat and most of them have been with the firm for many years. We are picky about who enters our customers homes.
